Hello Fam,
My name is Julie, and for over 30 years, I have lived and worked in Montbello. Upon recently retiring, I chose to deepen my commitment to Montbello Walks. The attached photo was captured when I was honored with the STAR award for my volunteer work in the local community.
Bridgette is recognized for her perpetual smile and eagerness to offer assistance whenever it is required. She possesses a kind-hearted nature and finds pleasure in contributing to her community. She takes care to support her neighbors who cannot drive by delivering food parcels from our distribution. Bridgette is actively involved in her church and Montbello Walks. Whenever possible, she joins the Senior Steppers group.
Cynthia: After retirement, realized that staying idle at home was not for her. She joined Montbello Walks to stay active, and a year later, she continues her efforts. Discovering the food insecurity in her own neighborhood, she finds joy in knowing she's making a difference in her local community. Cynthia is also active with our Senior Steppers.
Victoria: volunteers at our Food Pantry as a means of contributing to the community.
Yinka: Feels motivated by Pam's enthusiasm. Bringing joy to the neighborhood is something that I love to do.
Cheryl: I volunteer because I'm happiest when I am helping others. I find the most joy in assisting others.
